Girls name is Kirstie Nicholson and as a child she suffered from claustrophobia. Her mother decided to cure her of the phobia by tying girl’s hands and locking her in a chest on a regular basis. This weird display of motherly “love” didn’t just cure Kirstie, it also made her join the circus in later years of her life.
